![]() Now whenever you launch the game it will ask you a yes/no for permissions but it saves right. Right click DeadSpace.exe > compatibility tab > check "run as administrator" > apply. To do this through steam go to the library > right click dead space > properties > local files > open in explorer (or navigate to the game folder itself). I also run the game with elevated Administrator privlidges and it's saving again. But I disabled the hidden attribute and now it's saving right. Some people like myself actually save documents on their PC outside of the desktop and hate their tax documents being mixed in with game data that companies just love to dump in C:/users/yourname/documents. I did both of these before relaunching so I cannot confirm if both have to be done or if it's just one of the two that fixed it.
